Between September 27 and November 9, 2025, Movie Park Germany will once again host the popular Halloween Horror Festival on a total of 22 event days. This year, alongside well-known classics, you can also look forward to exciting new additions.

Two New Horror Mazes

Blood Moon Trailer Park

At the edge of the Western-themed area, a brand-new outdoor horror experience awaits this year. In cooperation with the design company Deko- und Ideenwerk, an abandoned trailer park was created on a 900 m² site behind The High Fall, featuring walk-through RVs and authentic American-style mobile homes.

“Check in – and never check out: This trip quickly turns into a bloody nightmare. Five hours north of Los Angeles, on the edge of Yosemite National Park, lies the ‘Blood Moon Trailer Park.’ Abandoned, decayed, forgotten. No signal, no help – only a barely passable road leading to the crumbling site. The place was officially shut down in the 1970s due to power outages, but unofficially because of ‘strange incidents.’ Recently, several YouTubers drew attention by exploring abandoned places in California. One of them found maps on the Darknet pointing to lost gas stations, car wrecks, and strange GPS failures in the region. They decided to spend a night in the ‘Blood Moon Trailer Park’ to generate clicks. What they didn’t know: the Redroot Kin, a degenerate bloodline that grew more mutated, insane, and cruel with each generation, was already preparing a ritual. Their 27-year harvest day is coming, and fresh blood is the main course. Since the disappearance of the YouTubers, Yosemite National Park has been warning guests not to enter the trailer park during the Blood Moon…”

Ahoj-Brause Horror Lab

The second new Halloween attraction is being developed in cooperation with Ahoj-Brause and IMAmotion in the park’s Event Center.

“In the ‘Ahoj-Brause Horror Lab,’ guests can expect a factory tour they will never forget. The beloved little sachets obviously don’t just contain fizzy powder, but also a large portion of fear, horror, and above all, madness. The supposedly abandoned facility leads guests to the source of the fizzy drink. Surprises and dead ends included, making every visit unique. A recipe that should have remained a secret: here, visitors become test subjects for experimental mixtures that are anything but ordinary. Ahoj-Brause – it’s all just fun!”

This Halloween attraction is expected to open on October 3.

Further Additions & Changes 2025

Expansion of “Hillbilly Town”

The scare zone Hillbilly Town (Western Town) will be expanded with new elements and decorations in addition to the brand-new “Blood Moon Trailer Park.” The park is also promising a hidden surprise in the area, but no details are available yet.

Show Update: “Unhallowed 2 – The Freak Show Straight out of Hell”

The popular live show with award-winning illusionist Christian Farla has been updated and expanded with new acts and illusions. Once again, a heavenly priest and the devil battle fiercely for the soul of a young woman.

New this year are a voodoo master who performs terrifying stunts with his body and shoots arrows with his feet, a female fire breather, a flying pole act, and the Head Saw Illusion.

Even More Festival Vibes at the Baboo Twister Express

In addition to the long-established party spot in the Acid Rain scare zone with DJ Max Bering, a second live DJ with rock music will be featured at the back of the park.

At the so-called Baboo Twister Express Plaza (next to the looping suspended coaster), Movie Park will also offer an upgraded food zone with cocktails and a brand-new show in cooperation with radio station Star FM Maximum Rock.

The new show is called “Drums of Doom” and is described by Movie Park as a combination of powerful drum beats, dynamic dance choreography, and impressive fire effects. It will be performed up to three times per evening.

New Age Restrictions

Another change affects age requirements for the horror mazes. Apart from the Ahoj-Brause Horror Lab, which can be experienced from age 14, visitors must now be at least 16 years old to enter the other Halloween attractions.

Other Highlights at the Halloween Horror Festival

Alongside the new chilling experiences, guests can also revisit returning horror mazes from past years, including Hell House, Secrets of St. Elmo, The Slaughterhouse, Circus of Freaks, Final Stop, Murder Museum, and last year’s addition A Quiet Place.

The Halloween version of the coaster Movie Park Studio Tour will also be back. Many other attractions such as Star Trek: Operation Enterprise, Bandit, and Van Helsing’s Factory will remain open late into the night.
