The year 2025 is slowly coming to an end and most people are already looking forward to the new year 2026. However, there are still a few things to do in the last month of this year. An overview of December events at themeparks can be found here.

Belgium

December 6 to January 4 Walibi Belgium: During Walibi Winter, all themed areas are festively decorated, there is a Christmas market, an ice rink, a snow tube slide, and younger guests can meet Santa himself.

December 6 to January 4 Bobbejaanland: For the first time, the park is hosting “Wintert,” a winter event with six winter zones and unique entertainment. Another special feature is the pond, which will be transformed into an ice rink.

Finland

December 12 to 14 and December 19 to 21 Särkänniemi: The rides are already closed, but you can enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in the park and meet animal friends at Doghill Christmas.

France

December 10 to March 8 Jardin d’Acclimatation: Le Japon en Lumières is a large lantern and light festival themed around Japan. In addition to the many lights and illuminated figures, there is also a selection of Japanese food such as mochi and ramen.

December 20 to January 4 Walibi Rhone-Alpes: At Christwaaas, you can experience much more than just the attractions. The entire park is decorated, children can meet Santa, there is an ice rink and a toboggan run, and winter shows.

December 20 to January 4 Parc Asterix: Noel Gaulois celebrates Christmas throughout the park. All attractions are open (weather permitting), the park is decorated, there is a snow tube slide, a varied show program, and a Christmas parade.

Germany

December 30 to January 1 Wunderland Kalkar: There is a varied program and various arrangements around New Year’s Eve. Everything is taken care of: food, drinks, workshops, entertainment, and a big New Year’s Eve party.

Italy

December 6 to January 6 Gardaland: Magic Winter promises thousands of lights and decorations, fun rides for the whole family, and breathtaking shows. There are also many other attractions, such as meeting Santa Claus and winter culinary highlights.

December 31 Cinecitta World: Capodanno means New Year’s Eve and is celebrated in style in the park. From 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., there are exuberant celebrations including rides, shows, and music from DJs.

Netherlands

December 6 to January 4 Slagharen: During Winter Slagharen, the Wild West is transformed into a winter wonderland. Sparkling lights, various shows, ice skating, and winter delicacies are on the agenda. Each day ends with a grand winter parade.

December 13 to January 4 Plopsa Indoor Coeverden: Christmas is also celebrated at Plopsa. All attractions are open, and there is a wintery atmosphere with beautiful Christmas decorations. From December 20 to 31, children can also meet Santa Claus.

December 19 to January 4 Billy Bird Helmrijk: The park is transformed into an exciting winter wonderland. The indoor and outdoor play areas are open and there are lots of winter activities on offer. Roller skating in a heated tent, Christmas photos with Billy, and many more highlights.

December 20 to January 4 Walibi Holland: Bright Nights offer roller coaster rides in the dark, winter entertainment, delicious treats, and interactive winter activities.

December 31 Slagharen: New Year’s Eve is also celebrated in the Wild West. Of course, there is an extensive and varied program for this special evening. There are several shows, but also hands-on activities for the whole family. At midnight, there will be a very special surprise.

Spain

December 6 to January 4 Parque de Atracciones: Exclusively for Christmas, there will be an atmospheric winter wonderland complete with shows and parades. The park will be brightly lit and transformed into a land of fairies and mythical creatures.

December 6 to January 5 Parque Warner Madrid: Navidad transforms the park into a winter wonderland full of magic. There is no shortage of decorations, shows, and entertainment, and that’s not all. There are lots of little surprises, and you can even meet Santa.

United Kingdom

December 6 to January 3 Paultons Park: Paultons Park is also celebrating the festive season with A Celebration of Christmas. There are several shows featuring Frosty and Santa Claus. Selected rides will be open and there will be opportunities for festive dining and Christmas shopping.

United States of America

December 6 to 31 Legoland Florida: Holidays at Legoland celebrate Christmas in the style of small building blocks. Decorations made of Lego, minifigures in festive outfits, various shows, and interactive activities to participate in.

December 31 Busch Gardens Tampa: Visitors can expect a spectacular transition into the new year at the New Year’s Eve celebrations. In addition to the many lights in the park, shows, and treats, there is a very special highlight: an evening show featuring drones and fireworks.

December 31 Wild Adventures: The New Year’s Eve Firework Spectacular takes place at 8:00 p.m. This allows families to celebrate New Year’s Eve without having to stay up until midnight.

December 31 Universal Studios Hollywood: Celebrate until 2:00 a.m. at the EVE event. The attractions are open late into the night and there are several party areas with music, photo stations, and countdowns to get the party started.

December 31 Legoland Florida: Kids New Year’s Eve is specially designed for families and children. The park celebrates the New Year before midnight, allowing children to celebrate exuberantly while still getting to bed on time.

December 31 Kentucky Kingdom: Here, too, there is a New Year’s Eve fireworks display to celebrate the new year. The 15-minute spectacle begins at 8:50 p.m., with fireworks set to music lighting up the sky.

December 31 Gilroy Gardens: The New Year’s Eve Celebration takes place from 4:00 p.m. to midnight and, of course, there will be a big party with a DJ and colorful fireworks. If you like, you can book a VIP Party Bundle, which also includes food and drinks.

December 31 Carowinds: In addition to the traditional midnight countdown, the New Year’s Eve celebration at Carowinds also offers a family-friendly, earlier version. That’s why there are extra early-evening countdowns and activities for the whole family.
