As the title suggests, the “Silberberg Coaster” guarantees fun, no matter what weather it is. The new all-weather alpine coaster is therefore a successful addition to the mountain.
The Silberberg Adventure Mountain is a popular excursion destination in the Bavarian Forest. It already offers an alpine coaster, a visitor mine, adventure playgrounds, a marble run and archery. Now, there is a new track-guided alpine coaster that can be used all year round.

The ride is an “Alpine Coaster 2” from the manufacturer Wiegand. You can reach speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour on the approximately 850-meter-long downhill track. The descent takes the form of bends, hills and two traffic circles. The entrance and exit of the coaster will be at the bottom station of the chairlift. If you want to have a nice souvenir of the ride, you can take a souvenir photo from a photo system on the track. It is also worth mentioning that no healthy trees had to be felled, even though the ride runs partly through a forest.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the new all-weather alpine coaster took place back in October 2024 and since then the team has been working at full speed to open the facility as quickly as possible.
