New type of roller coaster on the market

The attraction and roller coaster manufacturer “Zamperla” is launching a new product on the market and it´s gonna be a new rollercoaster.

As the name suggests, the new “Double Heart” coaster is reminiscent of two intertwined hearts. The coaster is perfect for smaller parks as the footprint is very small. This means that the ride does not require much space.

The ride begins with three launches (forwards, backwards, forwards) before you can enjoy very good airtime on the top hat. It continues with a so-called “twisted vertical drop”, which means a twisted descent. Then there are two inversions (overhead elements) before the ride ends.

There are two different layouts, which differ in size:

50 meter variant: 50 meters high, 325 meters long, footprint: 70×18 meters, maximum speed: 110 km/h, 48 seconds ride time, lap bars, rideable from 120 cm, capacity: 500 people per hour

70 meter variant: 70 meters high, 503 meters long, footprint: 120×19 meters, maximum speed: 130 km/h, 43 seconds travel time, lap bars, rideable from 120 cm, capacity: 975 people per hour

The cables are made of milled aluminum housings with minimal welds. The seats are ergonomically shaped, comfortably upholstered and the lap bars ensure a free riding experience.
