Mannheim Maimess 2026 kicks off this weekend

As spring shows its best side, one of the largest fairs in the region returns to Mannheim. The Mannheim Maimess 2026 takes place from April 25 to May 10 at the Neuer Messplatz near Herzogenriedpark, transforming the area into a vibrant mix of thrills, tradition and family entertainment for over two weeks.

The official opening takes place on Saturday, April 25 at 5:00 PM with the traditional beer barrel tapping ceremony. In total, around 160 rides and food stalls await visitors.

Sunday to Thursday: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Friday, Saturday & before public holidays: 1:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Happy Mondays & Family Days
Visitors can save money on the “Happy Mondays” (April 27 and May 4) as well as on the Family Days (April 30 and May 7).
Especially attractive: half-price rides at all attractions on Family Days.

Fireworks Highlights
A true highlight are the traditional fireworks displays:
On May 1 and May 8, the sky above Mannheim lights up at 10:00 PM with spectacular shows.
