The first funfairs of the year 2025 are slowly starting. Belgium is leading the way and from Friday, March 14th you can experience some attractions in Ypres. You can find all the information about Kattenfoor Ypres here.
With around 30 attractions and booths, the Kattenfoor in Ypres is not the largest funfair, but it is one of the first funfairs in Europe in 2025. From March 14 to March 23, you can experience various rides and booths with food and co. on the “Grote Markt” square. On March 14, the fair will be ceremonially opened at 17:30.
The attractions include a breakdance, a booster, an XXL swing and various carousels for younger visitors. There are also lots of play booths and, of course, popular treats to keep you satisfied.
If you want to enjoy the funfair in a quieter environment, the light and sound stimuli will be restricted on Tuesday, March 18 between 4.30 and 6.30 pm.
