New Attraction at Efteling: Ravenring Opens This Winter

A brand-new attraction is currently under construction at the Dutch theme park Efteling as part of the renewed Raveleijn themed area.

The park has now officially revealed that the new attraction will be called “Ravenring” and is scheduled to open this winter. Alongside the announcement, Efteling also shared the first concept artwork and additional details about the ride.

Interactive Flight Ritual with Winged Gondolas

Ravenring is described as an interactive flight ritual in which guests take a seat inside one of the winged gondolas inspired by ravens. The attraction will feature 18 gondolas in total and accommodate up to 36 riders at the same time. Guests as small as 1 meter tall will be able to experience the attraction.

One of the main features of Ravenring is that riders can control how far their gondola tilts during the ride using a lever. This allows for individual flight movements and a more dynamic experience. According to Efteling, the flowing motions and changing angles are designed to create both excitement and thrills.

Ravenring is being built directly outside the city walls of the magical city of Raveleijn. At the center of the attraction stands a large raven medallion. The ride area will also feature banners representing the five magical elements of the world of Raveleijn: water, fire, wood, earth and metal. At the end of the experience, guests will discover which of the five elements suits them best.

The Raveleijn Show Is Also Being Renewed

The new Ravenring attraction is part of the extensive transformation of the entire Raveleijn area. Back in August 2025, Efteling announced plans to completely renew the themed area. Alongside the new attraction, a fully reimagined live show is also being developed together with Puy du Fou¹. The new production is also expected to debut this winter.

An exact opening date for Ravenring and the renewed Raveleijn area has not yet been announced. More details are expected to be revealed later this year.
