The Disney Halloween Festival returns to Disneyland Paris in 2026. From September 26 through November 1, Disneyland Park will be transformed for the Halloween season. Alongside the return of “Mickey’s Halloween Celebration,” guests can look forward to encounters with numerous Disney Villains, new Halloween costumes for Mickey and his friends, and additional decorations along Main Street, U.S.A. An extended program is also planned for October 31.
The Halloween season will also be reflected in special food offerings and merchandise, while several areas of Disneyland Park will receive seasonal decorations. Among the main additions for 2026 are new Halloween decorations along Main Street, U.S.A. and an expanded version of the “Unlucky Nugget Saloon” in Frontierland.
Mickey and his friends get new Halloween costumes
During the Disney Halloween Festival, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy will appear in new Halloween costumes. Mickey will dress as a mysterious count, while Minnie will appear as a witch. Donald will transform into a vampire, while Daisy will dress as a bat.
Numerous Disney Villains will also return for the season. Disneyland Paris has announced appearances by Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier from “The Princess and the Frog,” among others. Jack Skellington and Sally from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will also return during the Halloween season.
At the Casey’s Corner Gazebo on Main Street, U.S.A., guests will also have the opportunity to meet Stitch dressed in his vampire costume.
“Mickey’s Halloween Celebration” returns
“Mickey’s Halloween Celebration” will once again be part of the seasonal entertainment program. The parade features a total of four themed floats making their way through Disneyland Park.
Daisy leads the parade, joined by numerous Disney characters. The lineup also includes characters that are less frequently seen in the park, such as Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar. The floats are decorated with pumpkins, lanterns and hay bales, among other seasonal elements.
Mickey brings the parade to a close aboard his “Manor of Illusions,” featuring a number of illusions and rapid costume changes.
New Halloween decorations on Main Street
For the 2026 season, Disneyland Paris is expanding the Halloween decorations along Main Street, U.S.A. Around 40 new pumpkins, 170 new candles and additional Victorian-style garlands will be added.
At Main Street Station, guests will discover four new Art Deco-style stained-glass windows featuring Maleficent and Ursula. Other new elements include banners depicting silhouettes of various Disney Villains, carved pumpkins featuring the faces of Mickey and Minnie, and decorations inspired by Donald Duck and Goofy.
The Royal Castle Stage next to Sleeping Beauty Castle will also receive a new Halloween setting. The area will feature castle gates covered in thorns, ravens and decorative emblems inspired by the Disney Villains.
A new background music loop has also been composed specifically for the Disney Halloween Festival on Main Street, U.S.A. After dark, projections will bring the building façades to life and add to the seasonal atmosphere.
“Unlucky Nugget Saloon” expands in 2026
The Halloween theming in Frontierland is also being expanded. The “Lucky Nugget Saloon” will once again transform into the “Unlucky Nugget Saloon,” with its seasonal storyline tied to the world of Phantom Manor.
At the center of the story is Melanie Ravenswood, whose planned wedding celebration forms part of the attraction’s backstory. On the ground floor, decorations are combined with lighting, music and special effects to create the seasonal setting.
New for 2026 is the inclusion of the redesigned upper floor. Additional decorations and artwork reference the eerie portraits found inside Phantom Manor. The menu will also be adapted to complement the seasonal concept.
Halloween can also be found elsewhere in Frontierland. Around “Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia,” colorful Mexican-inspired decorations celebrate “Día de los Muertos.”
Halloween treats and new merchandise
Disneyland Paris is also expanding its food offerings for the Disney Halloween Festival. Among the announced additions are several new desserts inspired by Disney Villains.
The Market House Deli, for example, will serve the “Devilish Brookie,” while the “Ursula’s Curse Cake” will be available at Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant.
A seasonal merchandise collection in autumnal colors will also be available. The collection includes a Mickey pumpkin shoulder plush as well as various items inspired by Disney Villains.
Special Halloween program until 11 p.m.
The season will reach its finale and highlight on October 31, 2026. On Halloween itself, Disneyland Paris will offer an extended seasonal program, with Disneyland Park remaining open until 11 p.m.
Additional Disney character encounters and a special fireworks display are planned for the evening. Guests will also receive sweets from M&M’S, the official partner of this year’s Halloween season.
There will also be a special exception to the resort’s costume rules: October 31 will be the only day when guests are allowed to visit Disneyland Paris wearing their own Halloween costumes. According to Disneyland Paris, the special Halloween program is included with regular park admission.
