From April 11 to May 4, 2025, the Frankfurt Dippemess returns for three weeks of fun, thrills, and tradition. Once again, visitors can look forward to a wide variety of rides, games, and culinary delights. We’ve put together the most important info and highlights for you below.

The Dippemess kicks off on April 11 and marks the start of the fair season in Hesse. Visitors of all ages can look forward to a wide range of attractions – from heart-racing rides to family-friendly fun, there’s something for everyone.
Thrill-seekers can get their adrenaline fix with the “Gladiator” propeller ride, the giant swing “Hip-Hop Fly,” or the rollercoaster “Time Machine.” Popular classics like the “Break Dancer,” “Disco Express,” and “Circus-Circus” also promise pure ride enjoyment.
Families will love attractions like the “Riesenrad 45” Ferris wheel, the water ride “Piraten-Fluss,” and the virtual reality experience “Dr. Archibald.” Younger guests won’t be left out either – with rides like the “Wellenflug” (wave swinger), the maze “Venezia Labyrinth,” and the go-kart track “Rallye-Monte-Carlo,” there’s plenty for kids to explore and enjoy.

A full list of rides at this year’s Frankfurt Dippemess can be found further down in the article.

Kids’ Days

Every Tuesday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, children up to 12 years old receive two ride tickets for the price of one at participating children’s rides. Look for signs marked “Kinderfest – wir machen mit” to identify participating attractions.

Getting There & Parking

Public Transport:
Getting to the Dippemess by public transport is easy. The closest stop is “Eissporthalle/Festplatz,” served by subway line U7, tram line 12, and bus lines 38 and 103. All lines run past midnight to ensure a smooth journey to and from the fair. The U7 will also run with extra carriages for more space.
