Swedish amusement park Gröna Lund has officially revealed its major new attraction for the 2027 season. Called “SCORE!”, the new interactive indoor experience will be located in the heart of the park, combining a themed dark ride with an interactive scoring game. Guests will embark on a shared mission through the park’s fictional underground world while competing to earn as many points as possible.

The attraction will occupy an area of approximately 700 square metres between the park’s Twister roller coaster and Katapulten.

An interactive journey through a mysterious archive

The story of “SCORE!” takes guests into a hidden archive beneath Gröna Lund, where historical artefacts, retired rides, curious inventions and other relics from the park’s more than 140-year history have supposedly been stored for decades. As the archive begins to overflow, visitors are recruited to help restore order to the growing chaos.

Armed with laser blasters, riders will aim at a variety of targets throughout the attraction to collect points. Every successful hit increases the team’s score, turning each ride into a friendly competition for the highest total.

Trackless vehicles deliver a dynamic ride experience

The attraction will feature eight trackless ride vehicles, each accommodating up to six guests. Using advanced radar-based positioning technology, the vehicles can move freely through the different scenes, rotate, and change direction, creating a dynamic ride experience with slightly different gameplay on every visit.

As a fully indoor attraction, SCORE! will operate regardless of weather or season. According to Gröna Lund, the experience is designed for guests of all ages.

“The combination of the radar-guided trackless ride, the immersive environment, and the fact that guests become part of the game themselves makes this a truly unique experience,” said Creative Director Jakob Fagerström (quote translated from Swedish).

Investment of approximately €18 million

Gröna Lund is investing 205 million Swedish kronor (approximately €18 million) in the new attraction. The creative concept has been developed in collaboration with Dutch design company Jora Vision, while the manufacturer of the ride system will be announced in autumn 2026.
