Dutch theme park Toverland will kick off its 2026 Halloween season on October 3. Through November 8, the park will host a total of 17 family-friendly Halloween Days, while the Halloween Nights will take place on 13 selected evenings. This year’s main additions include the new “Entwined: The Maze” Haunted Experience, set within a seven-hectare corn maze, as well as a completely redesigned Pumpkin Farm.

During the Halloween Nights, a total of 170 scare actors will take over the theme park. Guests can experience six Scare Zones and six separate Haunted Experiences, each featuring a different theme. On Halloween Nights, Toverland and all of its attractions will remain open until 11:00 p.m.

New Corn Maze “Entwined: The Maze”

The biggest addition to Toverland’s 2026 Halloween season is “Entwined: The Maze.” The new Haunted Experience is set within a roughly seven-hectare corn maze on the edge of the theme park and requires a separate ticket.

The story centers around the forgotten village of Twine End, hidden among towering cornfields. Once full of life, the village has gradually been reclaimed by nature, leaving behind the remains of the abandoned settlement. Guests make their way along narrow paths through the cornfields and past its decaying buildings.

However, they are not alone. Among the rustling corn stalks, guests will encounter former residents who failed to escape Twine End and now roam the fields in search of one thing: humanity.

Covering an area of seven hectares, Toverland describes “Entwined: The Maze” as Europe’s largest Halloween Experience.

Six Scare Zones and Six Haunted Experiences

Each of the 13 Halloween Nights begins with a Halloween Parade before 170 scare actors take over the park. The six Scare Zones are included with park admission, while the six Haunted Experiences require an additional ticket.

The different areas allow guests to attend a vampire ball, enter a circus filled with crazed clowns, walk among zombie warriors or venture through a forest inhabited by witches. Toverland recommends the Halloween Nights for guests aged 12 and older.

Each Halloween Night concludes with a fireworks show at 10:45 p.m.

For the six separately ticketed Haunted Experiences, Toverland once again offers several ticket options. Individual tickets with designated time slots cost between €6.50 and €13, depending on the experience. Alternatively, the “All-in Fear Pass” is available for €69.95. The pass includes one-time access to all six Haunted Experiences via a faster queue, as well as access to an exclusive viewing area for the Halloween Parade.

Pumpkin Farm Redesigned for the Halloween Days

During the daytime, Toverland’s Halloween program is primarily aimed at families with children. The 17 Halloween Days are particularly recommended for children up to the age of 12.

For the 2026 season, the Pumpkin Farm has been completely redesigned. Guests can discover thousands of pumpkins and a variety of Halloween decorations throughout the area. It also features “Magisch Mais Mysterie,” a family-friendly corn maze filled with various surprises.

Younger children can explore an easy-to-navigate hay bale maze, while witches provide additional entertainment with their “Hexenzauber.” The Halloween Days are complemented by special Halloween-themed food and snacks at restaurants and food outlets throughout the park, as well as two dedicated Halloween shops.
