The Halloween Fright Nights 2026 have kicked off at Walibi Holland. For this year’s edition, the Dutch theme park is expanding its Halloween lineup with the new “Halloween Town” Fright Area and the “Camp Dead End” Scare Zone. The show program at “Festival of Freaks” has also been revamped. Eddie the Clown plays a particularly important role this year as he celebrates his 20th anniversary at the Halloween Fright Nights.

With “Halloween Town,” Walibi Holland is expanding the event for the first time with an additional area located just outside the main park grounds. The new Fright Area is run by Mayor Beatrice Bones and takes visitors into a world inhabited by freaks, monsters, witches and zombies.

Unlike a traditional Scare Zone, visitors encounter the residents of Halloween Town as they go about their everyday lives. The characters live in the town, sit alongside guests at the bar and train for their scares during the Halloween Fright Nights. The new area opens at 6:00 p.m. on event days.

New “Camp Dead End” Scare Zone

Another new addition to the Halloween Fright Nights 2026 is the “Camp Dead End” Scare Zone. The new area is themed as a remote campsite in the middle of a forest.

Here, the so-called “Happy Campers” initially prepare for the night ahead. However, the seemingly peaceful camping trip quickly turns into a slasher scenario as one victim after another disappears.

New Program at “Festival of Freaks”

The “Festival of Freaks” has also been revamped for this year’s Halloween season, with Walibi Holland introducing new shows and unusual acts to the area. Eddie the Clown once again forms part of the program and celebrates 20 years at the Halloween Fright Nights in 2026.

To mark the anniversary, Eddie is not only appearing during the evening Halloween program this year. With “Eddie presents: Back to Reality,” he also gets his own afternoon show, performed at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

In addition, the first 1,000 visitors on each event day receive a voucher for two different signed posters celebrating Eddie’s 20th anniversary.

“Psychoshock” Opens for the Final Time in 2026

Alongside the new additions, the Halloween Fright Nights 2026 also mark the end of an era. The “Psychoshock” haunted house is opening for its final season this year.

After the current Halloween season, the long-running horror attraction will make way for something new. Walibi Holland has not yet revealed what will replace it.

Halloween Fright Nights Continue for Four More Weekends

The Halloween Fright Nights will continue on selected dates across four more weekends in October 2026. On event days, Walibi Holland is open from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.

With “Halloween Town,” “Camp Dead End” and the revamped “Festival of Freaks,” the theme park has expanded its Halloween program in several areas this year. At the same time, the final season of “Psychoshock” and Eddie the Clown’s 20th anniversary make the 2026 edition a particularly significant year for the event.
