The Aschaffenburg Volksfest 2026 will take place from June 19 to June 29, at the festival grounds. “An unforgettable experience for young and old alike! Family afternoons, thrilling rides, and plenty of treats offer the chance to relax and unwind or soar to dizzying heights. You can continue the celebration in the cozy festival tent with its attached beer garden on the Main,” according to the website mein.aschaffenburg.de.


Opening Hours and Event Dates

Monday–Thursday: 2 p.m.–midnight
Friday and Saturday: 2 p.m.–1 a.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m.–midnight
Last day of the festival: 2 p.m.–midnight

Friday, June 19: Opening
The traditional beer tapping ceremony will take place in the festival tent at 7 p.m., followed by a grand opening fireworks display at 10:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 20: Parade and Soccer
A parade will start at 3 p.m., proceeding from downtown to the festival grounds. At 10:00 p.m., the World Cup match between Germany and Ivory Coast will be broadcast.

Tuesday, June 23: Family Day
All rides at half price and special offers at the food stands. In the festival tent, half-price cola, lemonade, fries, and bratwurst (until midnight)

Thursday, June 25: Soccer
Starting at 10 p.m., the World Cup match between Ecuador and Germany will be broadcast.

Monday, June 29: Family Day and Fireworks
Starting at 2 p.m., all rides are half price, and there are additional special offers at the food stands. The grand closing fireworks display takes place at 10:30 p.m.

In addition, there is live music in the festival tent every day.


Directions & Parking

Getting There by Public Transportation
Take public transportation on lines 3, 6, 53, 54, 55, and 60, and get off at the Stadtbad or Willigisbrücke stops. There is an expanded bus service to downtown on Volksfest weekends.
Departures are from the bus stops on Line 3 (Stadtbad) directly in front of the main entrance to the Volksfest at 10:15 PM, 11:15 PM, and 12:15 AM (Friday and Saturday). A special bus takes you to the Regional Bus Terminal (ROB), serving the stops Löherstraße, Freihofsplatz, and Stadthalle.
In addition, the AST (on-demand shuttle service) operates according to the schedule. Book by calling +49 6021 21525 or conveniently via the CarlE app. AST fares apply.

Traveling by car
There are designated parking areas and several parking garages around the fairgrounds.

Traveling by bicycle
A sufficient number of bike racks are available at the fairground entrances on Darmstädter Straße and Mainuferweg.
