As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, Movie Park Germany is expanding its entertainment offering with a completely reimagined parade. Titled “Movie Park’s Parade of Celebration,” the new production will officially premiere on July 4, 2026, and is set to become one of the park’s largest entertainment experiences.
The first public rehearsals of the new parade are scheduled to begin on June 20. According to Movie Park Germany, the previous parade concept has been extensively redesigned and significantly expanded.
Bigger Scale with New Parade Floats
The new parade takes guests on a journey through the world of film lasting more than 20 minutes. The concept combines classic Hollywood glamour with modern show elements. In total, the parade will feature 13 vehicles, complemented by more than ten walking characters as well as numerous dancers and performers.
Among the well-known characters appearing in the parade are the PAW Patrol pups, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles, and the park’s own mascots S.A.M. and S.I.A. In addition to existing vehicles, four brand-new parade floats will join the lineup. The floats from the Nickelodeon LAND Street Show will also become part of the anniversary parade.
According to the park, new choreography, elaborate costumes, show stops, and an all-new soundtrack will create a significantly enhanced experience.
New Hollywood-Inspired Parade Floats
For the development and design of the new parade vehicles, Movie Park Germany is working with the Belgian production company Kabuki. The company is responsible for the creative development of the four new floats while also refurbishing existing vehicles to create a cohesive visual identity.
Each new float measures approximately six meters in length, three meters in width, and 3.5 meters in height. They will feature integrated lighting and numerous film-inspired details designed to reinforce the park’s movie theme.
New Soundtrack Created with IMAscore and Nilsen
The parade will also receive a completely new musical identity. To produce the soundtrack, Movie Park Germany is once again collaborating with the renowned sound design company IMAscore.
The soundtrack was specifically developed to meet the needs of a large-scale parade. Different musical sections will allow for flexible choreography and increased audience interaction. During selected show moments, performers will even step off their floats to engage more closely with guests.
One section of the parade is aimed particularly at families. For this part, children’s DJ and singer Nilsen, who comes from nearby Dorsten, contributes part of the musical production.
New Costumes from the United States
For the costume design, the park has partnered with the American company Full Stop Costume Studio. The new outfits were specifically created to support the parade’s choreography and storytelling while further emphasizing its Hollywood atmosphere.
According to Movie Park Germany, the costumes use high-quality materials and specially tailored cuts that not only create a striking visual appearance but are also designed to meet the demands of daily live performances.
Premiere During the Major Anniversary Event
The official premiere of “Movie Park’s Parade of Celebration” will take place on July 4, 2026, during the park’s major 30th anniversary event. Before then, visitors will have the opportunity to get a first look at the new production during the public rehearsals.
With this extensive expansion, Movie Park Germany aims to modernize one of its longest-running entertainment offerings while placing an even stronger focus on its unique movie park identity.
